2018 VW Golf

Volkswagen brought out its updated Golf lineup at the 2017 New York Auto Show, which featured a collection of fresh exterior elements and technologies. The new Golf is slated to arrive at David Maus Volkswagen this fall, including the Golf Alltrack, GTI, SportWagen and Golf R.

Golf fans are in for a treat when it comes to Volkswagen’s new roster. All models receive LED taillights, running lights and new design elements such as crisper lines. Select versions of the Golf will also be available with new wheel designs, LED headlights, a series of fresh paint colors and updated interior materials.

Say so long to the previous infotainment system in Golf models. It has been replaced across the lineup. Base models now come with a 6.5-inch infotainment system in place of the 5-inch screen, while SE and SEL models receive an 8-inch display. The Golf R even comes standard with the new Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, which gives drivers the ability to customize vehicle information displayed on the dashboard.

Safety-wise, most Golf trims are available with advanced technologies, including forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian monitoring, adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.
