What's New for the 2018 Volkswagen Jetta?

The 2018 Volkswagen Jetta is now Volkswagen's latest vehicle to hit the market for the year and the newest for their Jetta model brand. The new Jetta has been given some minor upgrades over the 2017 version of it. For example, two new trim levels are now available, although one of them comes at the expense of an option for having a manual transmission. Wheel designs have also been changed up a bit and some models even come with a chrome grille for style points.

The S trim model is the standard, coming with base features like 16-inch aluminum wheels, heated side mirrors, and a four-speaker sound system. The Wolfsburg Edition is new and is mostly the same as the S, except for the addition of new fog lights and simulated leather upholstery decorating the interior. The SE includes upgrades like a sunroof, a blind-spot monitoring system, keyless entry and ignition and access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps. The SE Sport takes this even further with the addition of a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, 17-inch wheels and a black headliner and roof. The SEL model has engine stats similar to the SE Sport but includes special automatic headlights, automatic windshield wipers and dual-zone climate control. The GLI trim is the most luxurious, being equipped with a stronger turbocharged engine, 18-inch wheels, special cabin trimmings and a six-speed automatic transmission setting.

It runs generally on regular unleaded fuel and has an EPA that allows for a combined 32 miles per gallon, getting 28 MPG* when going through the city and 38 MPG* when riding on the highway.
