The ID.4 is an electric SUV that is a new release for the 2021 model year. The electric SUV is available in several drivetrains, which in turn influences its full range. The all-electric car gets up to 260 miles of maximum range with rear-wheel drive, but it is also available with all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive ID.4 has a power capacity of 201 HP, while you'll get up to 302 HP with all-wheel drive. Along with its tremendous fuel economy, the ID.4 has many desirable features. The other electric car from Volkswagen is the ID.BUZZ. The BUZZ marks Volkswagen's beloved Microbus's return, but it brings back the bus with an electric powertrain instead of a gasoline engine. The BUZZ will have dual electric motors that give it up to 369 HP in power capacity. It will also have a 111 kWh battery under its floor. Collectively, the motors and battery will give the BUZZ about 300 miles in range, and it will have fast-charging capacity on the go. The BUZZ also gets semi-autonomous driving technology and a head-up display.

Electric vehicles are run by electric motors and batteries only. They do not have any gasoline-based power. Hybrid vehicles are a cross between an electric car and a regular gas-powered vehicle. Plug-ins also have a combined gas and electric powertrain, but they rarely use gasoline.

The ID.4 reaches 260 miles in range, and the ID Buzz gets 300 miles in range.

With an onboard DC fast charger, the batteries in VW's electric vehicles charge in less than an hour.

The ID.4 has a towing capacity of 2,200 pounds when equipped with a trailering package.
