Federal EV Tax Credit & Charger Incentives
The federal Clean Vehicle Credit offers up to $7,500 in tax savings on qualifying electric vehicles. If you’re thinking about a new Volkswagen EV, act soon—the credit ends on September 30, 2025, unless renewed. There’s also a separate incentive for installing a home EV charger, but that program expires on June 30, 2026.
