What's Under the Hood of the Taos?

The Volkswagen Taos has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, with 158 HP and 184 LB-FT of torque. There are two transmission choices, based on which wheels are driving the Taos. Front-wheel drive vehicles come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive models will get a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
